Shannon's newest baby girl was born just after midnight,
on the morning of August 1st, 2009!
Being special is
soooooooooooo exhausting!
"Uncle" Jose is ready
to help raise another one!
Barn-brats...being silly!
Madi...I'm not even gonna ask!
So Lisa...is Cossandro
hugging you or
sticking
his tongue out at you
behind your back?
Wow...Shannon...you've gotten gray.
Oh, whoops... never mind...
it's just snow!
Alright all you nay-sayers...
You see it does get cold here in the PNW!
From winter 2010!
Looking out the back door
of our barn
after an uncommon dusting
of spring snow in 2008
Winter 2009! Okay,
maybe the snow's not
that deep in this picture, but the pond
in the foreground is frozen over!
Just sorta curious...who's
bathing who here?
2 (adult?) girls...
2 much time on their hands...
2 bored...
2 much fun...
2 cute!
...hmmm...let me
guess...
KK and Wag?
It washed off.
So, okay...no...this photo wasn't taken at our barn!
We were just checking to see if you're paying attention.
It's a 3 week old pygmy hippopotamus from a zoo in Paris..
Truthfully now...have you ever seen anything quite this cute?
Chance asks:
"Does my nose look big to you?"
You know how it is with the
young ones... sometimes you
just have to sit on 'em a little!
We enjoy occasional visits
from our wild neighbors...
...and they don't appear to be too
concerned with the activity inside our arena!
KK took this black and white silhouette of Coro!
January
2004
On this snowy morning,
Coaster,
right, and his "Uncle Cashel" look very
much like they belong on
the front
of a
Hallmark card!
For the South Puget Sound Area this is an unusual amount
of snow ... and Chance isn't really
convinced that it's
meant to be enjoyed by horses!
