Shannon, a Tacoma native, became a top U.S. show jumping competitor at the young age of 17. As a teen, she qualified for the Junior Jumper Finals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, two years in a row. This exclusive competition admits only 40 under-18 riders from the U.S. Only four from the Northwest. On her second try she came home with a 2nd. That same year Shannon and her little mare, "Stage Struck" won the $15,000 Milner Downs, Canada, Grand Prix. She has also won all of the zone medals for zone nine and numerous year end championships in both hunters and jumpers. |
|
As a pro, Shannon knows the "ins and outs" of competition on the highest levels. As a result her students are confident and successful. Additionally, Shannon continues to be a student of the sport herself. She works hard to stay abreast of trends, changes and improved training methods. Attending clinics hosted by accomplished individuals in the Hunter- Jumper industry keeps her "tuned up" and well informed. |

Jose works hard to keep our barn, paddocks, and stalls tidy and our horses happy! We're fortunate that he lives on the property and keeps such a watchful eye on things. His generous nature and easy rapport with our clients make him truly a pleasure to have on staff. Our horses appreciate his kind ways and return his affection! |
